At least a dozen companies witnessed action as shares changed hands in an otherwise negative market during Wednesday’s session. NXT Digital and Party Cruisers were the most sought stock today.

Alpha Leon Enterprises LLP has bought 50,000 equity shares in NXT Digital at Rs 31.9 per share; while Aviator Global Investment Fund and New Leaina Investments Limited sold 73,174 and 75,083 equity shares at Rs 33.58 and Rs 31.91 per share, respectively in the company, as per the bulk deals data.

While individual investors Apurva Jain bought 50,000 equity shares and Gaurav Chandrakant Shah sold 28,000 equity shares in Party Cruisers Limited at the same price at Rs 33.1 per share on the NSE, according to the bulk deals data on Wednesday.  

In Shiv Aum Steels Limited, Bipin C Shah sold 75,000 equity shares to Harsha Rajeshbhai Jhaveri at Rs 65 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed.

On an individual basis, Santosh Industries Ltd bought 5,75,000 equity shares in Mcleod Russel India Limit at Rs 28.5 per share; Bhupendra Shah bought 14,000 equity shares in BEW Engineering Limited at Rs 386.62 apiece and Arbina Maqbool Dhoki picked up 3,00,000 shares in Moksh Ornaments Limited at Rs 37.9 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data mentioned.

Meanwhile, Visa Capital Partners sold 2,18,430 shares in Libas Consu Products Ltd at Rs 27.2 per share; Comfort Commotrade Private Limited sold 2,85,075 shares in North East Carry Corp Ltd at Rs 19.71 per share; and Sony Sebastian sold 1,06,19,497 equity shares in Vikas Prop & Granite Ltd at Rs 1.6 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data.

A deal where the total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5 per cent of the share capital of the company is called bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
