BPCL share price and dividend: Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi has been batting aggressively in favour of PSU stocks ever since Budget 2021 was tabled. The Market Guru has been maintaining that year 2021 is set to be the year of state-owned company stocks. In this regard, he predicted four-digit figure for SBI share price. Now, Anil Singhvi has picked another PSU stock — BPCL. He said that BPCL share price is expected to zoom immediately after the BPCL Board Meeting scheduled on 16th March. He said that BPCL Board Meeting is going to discuss dividend announcement that can be more than 5 per cent. If the BPCL Board announces more than 5 per cent dividend, then it will be a good monetary gain for both cash and F&O investors.

Suggesting both cash and Future & Option (F&O) traders to buy BPCL shares Anil Singhvi said, "BPCL Board Meeting is scheduled on 16th March 2021 and the meeting will decided how much dividend should be given to the BPCL shareholders. So, it's for sure that BPCL shareholders would get dividend bonus. As per the reports, BPCL may announce dividend to the tune of Rs 45 to Rs 50 per BPCL shares post-tax, which is huge."

On how BPCL dividends will bring cheers on both cash and F&O traders the Market Guru said, "For cash segment investors, BPCL dividend will be per share bonus. However, for the F&O traders, if the BPCL Board announced 5 per cent or more of the 15th of March closing price of the BPCL lot price in the F&O, then the dividends will go to the pockets of F&O traders too. So, it's advisable to both cash and F&O traders to buy BPCL shares as this is among the shares to buy today for both cash and F&O segment."

Asked about the strategy post-BPCL Dividend announcement Anil Singhvi said, "Don't sell BPCL shares post-Dividend announcement. In fact, this year is of PSU stocks and one should keep BPCL and other PSU stocks in one's portfolio. GAIL, IOC, etc. are also going to announce dividend in their upcoming board meetings."
