After a gap-down start, domestic stocks markets turned green and were trading with minor gains in Thursday’s noon deals. At 12:44 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading with a gain of 3.55 points or 0.01% 47,709.35. On the NSE, the Nifty 50 was trading 14.45 points or 0.10% up at 14,310.85. Meanwhile, certain stocks were in action in either direction based on reports linked to them. Here is a list of few such stocks:

Banking Stocks: Banks bounce back with Nifty Banking trading with a gain of 0.77%, while Nifty PSU Bank index and Nifty Private Bank Index trading with a gain of 0.92% and 1.07%, respectively. 

Financials in focus: Nifty Financial Services was trading with a gain of 0.70%. 

Metal Stocks: Metals are doing well. The Nifty Metal index was trading with a gain of 2.31%. 

Earnings Reaction 

Nestle India: Down 1.35%. Fell after releasing its financial results for Q4FY21 and reported a 14.6% YoY jump in profits at Rs 602.2 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021.  
ICICI Securities: Bullish and up 6.85%. The capital market company has reported a 111% YoY jump in the consolidated profit at Rs 329.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021.
Phillips Carbon Black: Up 0.17%. The country’s largest carbon black producer has reported a 74.4% YoY jump in the consolidated profit of Rs 127.3 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021.
Tata Steel Long Products: Up 1.78%. The specialty steel producer has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 340 crore during the fourth quarter of FY21 as against a loss of Rs 133 crore during the same period last year. 
Tata Steel BSL: Bullish and up 4.86%. India’s largest manufacturer of auto-grade steel has reported 284.5 times YoY jump in consolidated profit at Rs 1,913.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021.

Subex: Up 1.73%. Subex Launches HyperSense, an End-to-End Augmented Analytics Platform.
PNB: Up 0.89%. Bulk deals for 10.8 lakh shares made at 33.70 per share. 
Dr Reddy’s: Up 1.88%. US FDA granted in-principle approval for Pomalidomide, a drug for cancer. 
Century Plyboards: down 0.27%. Anti-Dumping Duty slapped on Plain Medium Density Fiber Board.
Easy Trip Planners: Up 0.50%. 'EaseMyTrip joins hands with JustDial for providing air travel services. 
Wockhardt: Bullish and trading 5.83% up. The pharmaceutical firm has said that it will raise upto Rs 150 crore through the issue of non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis.
Hero MotoCorp: Up 0.19%. It has announced a tie-up with Gogoro to build a battery-swapping network in India. 
L&T: Down 1.04%. L&T Construction awarded a contract worth Rs 1,000-2,500 crore to design and build one of the world's largest Oil & Gas Supply Bases. 
New India Assurance: Up 1.35%. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package (PMGKP) will continue through New India Assurance and the government will provide capital in the tranche of Rs 100 crore, sources aware of the development informed Zee Business. The government will bear the burden of deficit if the claim is more. So, far claims worth Rs 350 crore have been made in the insurance sector. The insurance scheme was implemented from March 30, 2020, to provide an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh to the health workers fighting COVID-19.
Pharma Stocks: Nifty pharma index trading 0.55%. Pharma stocks, like Dr Reddy's – up 1.74%, Cipla – up 0.29%, Jubilant Pharmova – up 2.39%, were trading with gains. The import of Remdesivir Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), injections and specific inputs has been made import duty free till October 31, 2021. Meanwhile, the Serum Institute of India (SII) has fixed the price of the Covishield vaccine at Rs 600 per dose for private hospitals and Rs 400 per jab for state governments, the company said in a release.
Caplin Point: Up 2.27%. Caplin Steriles gets USFDA approval for Neostigmine Methylsulfate Injection.
