Domestic equity indices snapped their four-day losing streak in a volatile trading session and closed almost flat on Monday, October 25, 2021. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 145.43 points, or 0.24 per cent to close at 60,967.05. The Nifty 50 index rose 10.50 points or 0.06 per cent at 18,125.40. The Bank Nifty added 868.75 points or 2.15 per cent to end at a fresh high of 41,192.40.

The broader markets underperformed the Sensex at the BSE with S&P BSE MidCap declined 1.65 per cent while S&P BSE SmallCap lost 1.76 per cent.

Trend to turn Neutral only if Nifty closes below 17,850-17,950 range.

Day support zone on Nifty is 17,950-18,125, below that 17,800-17,875 is a strong Buy zone.

Day higher zone on Nifty is 18,175-18,250, above that 18,325-18,375 is a strong Profit booking zone.

Day support zone on Bank Nifty is 40,500-40,600, below that 40,200-40,325 is a strong Buy zone.

Day higher zone on Bank Nifty is 41,500-41,600, above that 41,800-42,000 is a strong Profit booking zone.

The small day range for trading on Nifty is 18,050-18,250, while the medium and bigger day ranges are 17,950-18,325 and 17,850-18,375, respectively.

The small day range for trading on Bank Nifty is 41,000-41,500, while the medium and bigger day ranges are 40,600-41,800 and 40,500-42,000, respectively.

FIIs Index long decreased to 59% Vs 62%.

PCR unchanged at 0.82, still oversold, short-covering expected from lower levels.

India VIX unchanged at 17.61.
