Amid positive global markets, neutral foreign institutional investors (FIIs), domestic institutional investors (DIIs), futures & options (F&O) and sentiment cues, the short-term trend of the Indian stock markets will be neutral on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Domestic equity indices ended near the day's high on Thursday, April 1, 2021, led by gains in banks, metal, and auto stocks. The S&P BSE Sensex closed above the 50,000-mark amid strong gains in the global equity markets. The Nifty at National Stock Exchange settled above 14,800-level.

The Sensex surged 521 points, or 1.05 per cent, to end at 50,030. The Nifty at National Stock Exchange also climbed 177 points, 1.2 per cent, to finish at 14,867. The Bank Nifty rose 554.10 points, or 1.66 per cent, to close at 33,858.

Day support zone on Nifty is 14,800-14,850, below that 14,700-14,750 is a strong Buy zone. 

Day higher zone on Nifty is 14,925-14,975, above that 15,025-15,100 is strong Profit-booking zone.

Day support zone on Bank Nifty is 33,550-33,625, below that 33,150-33,300 is a strong Buy zone.

Day higher zone on Bank Nifty is 33,950-34,175, above that 34,325-34,500 is strong Profit-booking zone.

The small day range for trading on Nifty is 14,800-14,950, while the medium and bigger ranges are 14,750-15,000 and 14,700-15,050, respectively. 

The small day range for trading on Bank Nifty is 33,550-33,975, while the medium and bigger ranges are 33,300-34,175 and 33,150-34,325, respectively. 

FIIs increased Index long at 62% Vs 60%.

PCR light at 1.36 Vs 1.54.

India VIX 3% down at 19.99.

For Existing Long Positions:

Nifty intraday stop loss is 14,800 and closing stop loss is 14,700.

Bank Nifty intraday and closing stop loss are 33,550.

 For Existing Short Positions:

Nifty intraday and closing stop loss are 14,900.

Bank Nifty intraday and closing stop loss are 34,000.

For New Positions:

Buy Nifty with a stop loss of 14,700 and target 14,925, 14,950, 15,000, 15,025, 15,050.

Sell Nifty in 15,050-15,150 range with a stop loss of 15,200 and target 15,000, 14,950, 14,925, 14,875. 

Aggressive Traders Sell Nifty in 14,975-15,050 range with a stop loss of 15,100 and target 14,950, 14,925, 14,875, 14,825.

For New Positions:

Buy Bank Nifty in 33,300-33,625 range with a stop loss of 33,000 and target 33,625, 33,750, 33,850, 33,950, 34,000, 34,175, 34,225.

Sell Bank Nifty in 34,175-34,325 range with a stop loss of 34,500 and target 34,000, 33,950, 33,875, 33,775, 33,625, 33,550.
