Under this recruitment drive, the UPSC will hire Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Medical Gastroenterology) in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare department.
UPSC: Permanent Jobs And Eligibility
As many as seven vacancies, including 1 unreserved category, 1 other backward caste and 2 Scheduled Caste and 1 Scheduled Tribe have been notified by the commission. The post is permanent and appointment will be made under Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group 'A’. Those applying for this post should not exceed the age of 40 years. 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale and Pay Matrix
Candidates selected for this role will given salary as per Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA. Meaning, as per the seventh pay commission pay matrix, the selected candidate will be given a pay scale of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 per month plus NPA. Source: PTI
Suitable Candidates
A suitable candidate will be with a recognized MBBS degree and postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty. The candidates should also possess at least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super Speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
