IBPS SO prelims results 2020: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selections (IBPS) declared the results of preliminary examination for IBPS SO recruitment 2020.  Candidates who had appeared for the IBPS SO prelims exam 2020 can check their result on ibps.in. The candidates will get enough time to check their result as the link will be available till January 12. The shortlisted candidates will appear for the IBPS SO Mains Exam which will be held on January 24.

Candidates who have appeared in the preliminary examination can check their results online at ibps.in on or before January 12, 2021. 

Under IBPS SO recruitment 2020, as many as 647 vacancies will be filled. Specialist Officer is a post that requires skilled and specialized officers.  

 

Here is how you can check IBPS SO prelims results 2020 in some steps:  

  

Step1: Go to the IBPS official website: ibps.in  

Step2: On the homepage, click on the link that says IBPS SO prelims result  

Step 3: Enter your registration details and captcha and submit  

Step 4: Your result will be displayed. 

Those who qualify the IBPS SO prelims examination will be allowed to sit in the mains exam. 

The further process will be followed by a mains exam, involving a test of the professional knowledge of the candidate in the chosen subject. 

 Also, note that the prelims exam score is not considered for the final selection.  

However, a candidate is required to qualify for each stage of the exam to be considered for final selection. 

Earlier, those who sat in IBPS SO prelims exam were given 150 objective-type questions 150 in three sections-- English Language (50 Qs of 25 Marks), Reasoning (50 Qs of 50 Marks), General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari Posts/ Quantitative Aptitude for IT Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Agriculture Field Officer and Marketing Officer Posts (50 Qs of 50 Marks). Candidates were given 40 minutes to complete the test
