UPSC IES ISS Recruitment 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Indian Economic Service exam (IES) and the Indian Statistical Service exam (ISS). The last date for application is April 27, 2021 till 6 PM. The UPSC IES ISS aspirants must note that the last date to fill in the online application is April 27, 2021 until 6 PM. Also, the candidates will be able to withdraw online application from May 4, 2021 to May 10, 2021.

The UPSC IES ISS aspirants must note that the applicants must have the details of one photo id Card like aadhaar card/ voter card/PAN card/passport/driving licence/any other photo id card issued by the state or the central government. The details of this photo id card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form.

The candidates must note that the approximate number of vacancies in Junior Time Scale of the Services are as follows:

1) Indian Economic Service - 15

2) Indian Statistical Service - 11

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available at upsconline.nic.in. The candidates must note that no admission certificate will be sent by post.

The candidates applying for the posts of UPSC IES ISS exam must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. The candidates must note that mere issue of e-Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test.
