The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is accepting applications for the posts of Medical Officer and Medical Specialist. There is a total number of 46 vacancies to be filled through this process. SAIL Recruitment 2021: Dates: The application process for the recruitment will begin from April 1, 2021 and will continue till April 30, 2021.

SAIL Recruitment 2021: Vacancies: The pay scale for the posts of Medical Officer (E-1 grade) is Rs 20,600 to Rs 46,500/ Rs 24,900 to Rs 50,500.
As for the posts of Medical Specialist (E-3 grade), the pay scale is Rs 32,900 to Rs 58,000.
Besides basic pay, the selected candidates will also be paid dearness allowance (DA). The candidates will also receive other benefits such as PF, gratuity and other allowances as per rules of the company. In addition, the company further provides benefits like leave encashment, housing/ hra and free medical facility for self and dependents as per company rules.

SAIL Recruitment 2021: Age limit: The upper age limit for the posts of Medical Officer is 34 years as on April 30, 2021. For Medical Specialist, the upper age limit is 41 years as on April 30, 2021.
Relaxation of the upper age limit up to five years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories and relaxation up to three years is applicable for the candidates belonging to the OBC category.

SAIL Recruitment 2021: Application fee: The eligible interested candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

SAIL Recruitment 2021: Posting: The interested candidates must note that the recruitment is only for posting in various mines of SAIL-Raw Materials Division located in the states of Jharkhand, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. The selected candidates may be posted in any of the mines.

SAIL Recruitment 2021: Exam date: The tentative date for the written exam/computer-based test/interview will be intimated later through the website.
