The likely announcement will be made by the CBSE on the official website ctet.nic.in.

CTET is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers in Classes 1-8.

It should be noted that many examinations are being conducted in the month of September. It is being expected that the dates will be declared by the end of this month, though no formal information has been issued with regards to this.

The CBSE conducts CTET Paper I and Paper II for the Central Teacher Ability Test (CTET) in two rounds.

CTET Paper I is conducted for those candidates who apply for Class I-V while CTET Paper II is conducted for those candidates who want to apply for teaching jobs for classes VI-VIII.

CTET Certificate is important to ensure that the candidate becomes eligible to apply for teaching jobs in government and private institutions. The applicants who qualify the exam will be eligible to teach in Kendriya Vidyalaya schools, Navodaya Vidyalaya and other central government schools.

CBSE had earlier informed about the postponement of the CTET 2020 Exam that was scheduled on 5 July 2020 through a public notice issued on 25 June 2020. This will be the 14th edition of the Central Teacher Ability Test (CTET), as per the public notice available on the CTET website.
