BPSC 2020 exam: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is all set to conduct 65th Combined Competitive Mains Exam from tomorrow, i.e. November 25. BPSC Mains exam will be held on November 25, 26 and 28 at 10 examination centres in Patna. As per the information available on BPSC official website bpsc.bih.nic.in, exams on November 25 will be conducted from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and between 11 am to 2 pm on November 26 and 28. Second paper exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The candidates who will qualify in the Mains exam will be called for Interview.

The students have been asked to adhere to all the guidelines set by the BPSC, including the Coronavirus SOPs. Instructions to deploy doctors' team along with ambulance at exam centres have been passed on to the administration. All examination centres in-charges have been asked to sanitise these centers and instructed to ensure social distancing and other coronavirus guidelines during exam hours.   

Candidates have been asked not to carry sketch pen, glitter pens, markers, whitener, mobile phone etc. inside examination room. They have been instructed to use only one colour of ink, either blue or black. In case, the change the colour of the ink they will have to take permission from invigilator.  

The mains exam will be subjective in nature. There will be questions on General Hindi (100 Marks), General Studies Paper 1 (300 Marks), General Studies Paper 2 (300 Marks) and 300 Marks have been allotted optional subject.

BPSC 65th Mains Exam is being conducted to recruit 434 vacant posts in different government departments of Bihar government. The mains exam was earlier scheduled for August 4, 5 and 7, but was postponed due to some unavoidable reasons. The commission had conducted the preliminary exam on October 15, 2019 and the result was declared on March 6 this year. Of the total 2,57,247 candidates, 6,517 had qualified for the Mains exam.
