AP Police Recruitment 2022: The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has released a notification for the candidates with respect to the recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Constables in the state police force. All the candidates who are interested can check the notification on the official website slprb.ap.gov.in.

AP Police Recruitment 2022: Number of vacancies 

AP Police Sub Inspectors

This year AP Police SI recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 411 posts including 315 Sub-Inspectors of Police (Civil) (Men and Women) and 96 Reserve Sub-Inspectors of Police (APSP) (Men).  

AP Police Constable

The department will recruit 3,580 civil and 2,520 constables (men) in APSP in the current drive. The DGP (Director General of Police) said 33.3 per cent of reservations would be provided for women in all categories in the civil category.

AP Police Recruitment 2022: Eligibility criteria

Age limit: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on July 1, 2022. The upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories as per the government rules.

AP Police Recruitment 2022: Application fee

OC/BC and EWS candidates as well as non-locals of AP have to pay Rs 600. 

SC/ST has to pay Rs 300.

AP Police Recruitment 2022: Selection procedure

The selection will be held on the basis of a preliminary written test in two papers, physical measurements test, physical efficiency test, and a final written examination in four papers. 

The final selection of the candidates will be made strictly on relative merit.
