7th Pay Commission Latest News: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for the post Assistant Public Prosecutor, Directorate of Prosecution, Home Department, Government of NCT of Delhi. As many has 84 vacancies have been notified for this post by the commission.

The post is permanent. Those selected under this recruitment drive will be paid salary as per pay Scale: Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Meaning, as per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-8 employee will get a salary from Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100 means after selection, the candidate will get a starting salary of Rs 47,600 plus Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances.
As many as 5 five seats have been reserved for SC candidates, 9 for ST, 18 for OBC, 19 EWS and 29 UR and 4 vacancies for Physically handicapped.

The age limit for this job offer is 30 years without reservation. Reservation criteria will apply on different categories of candidates as per government rule.  

As far as application fee is concerned, candidates will have to pay ₹25 in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the bank through visa/master credit/debit card.

"No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee," reads the official notice.  

EDUCATIONAL: A Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent (equivalent may be treated as LLB)

EXPERIENCE: Three years' experience at the bar  

DESIRABLE: Experience as Government Advocate.
