The Union Public Service Commission has notified vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Public Health) in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare department. As many five posts of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor will be filled by the commission. Interested candidates can apply for these positions online at UPSC official website upsc.gov.in. The application process for these posts have begun from January 23 and will continue till February 11, 2021.

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale

The post is permanent and candidates selected for this job will be paid salary as per pay scale Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus NPA. Meaning a candidate joining as Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Public Health) will get a salary in the range of Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700.

Age limit:  
The age limit for applying for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Public Health) post is 40 years.  

Application fee:
Candidates will have to pay ₹25 in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the bank through visa/master credit/debit card as application fee. "No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee," reads the official notice.

Educational qualification:
* A recognized MBBS degree  
* Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty  

Experience:
At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Specialty or Super Specialty in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post Graduate degree.
