IRCTCs Shri Ramayan Yatra train receives overwhelming response: Know, tour details, route, destinations and more

Shri Ramayan Yatra Train: The first Shri Ramayana Yatra train by Indian Railway Tourism and Catering Corporation (IRCTC) commenced its journey on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station at 6.30 PM.

Tour details and route

The duration of the tour is of 17 days. With Indian Railways, now passengers will be able to visit pilgrimage places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram like Ayodhya, Sitamarhi and Chitrakoot etc. in 17 days. Source: IRCTC Twitter

AC deluxe tourist train

The interested passengers must note that the Ramayana Yatra tour is being operated in a deluxe AC tourist train. The first tour that started from yesterday will cover almost all prominent places associated with the life of Lord Rama. Source: Ministry of Railways Twitter

First stop

As per an ANI report, the first destination for the tourists will be at Ayodhya where they will visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple and Hanuman Temple. Another additional attraction will be Bharat Mandir at Nandigram. Source: IRCTC Twitter

Other destinations

The tourists will also visit other prominent destinations associated with the life of Lord Rama. These places include Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Kashi, Prayag, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi and Rameshwaram. Source: Ministry of Railways Twitter
