The train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Telangana visit. According to reports, PM Modi is likely to also inaugurate the renovation project of the Secunderabad Rail Station during the visit.

Reports suggest that PM Modi will be on a two-day visit to Telangana. He will be visiting the state on January 19 and January 20 and it is expected that the flagging off will part of PM Modi's programme. The final decision over the dates is yet to be finalised.

According to a report by IANS, the new generation Vande Bharat Express - India's first semi-high-speed train - is the second such train in South India. The first Vande Bharat in south India was launched between Chennai and Mysuru in November.

This will be the first such indigenously-built semi-high-speed rail in South Central Railway (SCR). 

According to a report, the Indian Railways has plans to extend Secunderabad - Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express train to Visakhapatnam.

It is expected that the Indian Railways will soon announce the train numbers and timings of the Secunderabad Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express train. 

Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express: Secunderabad Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express Ticket Price

 

The ticket price of Secunderabad Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express has not been announced. The fare of Howrah to New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express is Rs 1,565 for AC Chair Car and Rs 2,825 for Executive Chair Car.

It is to be noted that the first edition of the new Vande Bharat train started running on September 30, 2022 from Gandhinagar, Gujarat to Mumbai Central, Maharashtra.
