According to IANS report, Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Development of Northeast Region, G. Kishan Reddy, who represents Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency, has also requested the Railway Ministry to introduce Vanda Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Tirupati.

However, this is likely to take time due to constraints in meeting the demand for rolling stock.
Secunderabad Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express Train Start Date, Route
According to a report by news agency IANS, the new generation Vande Bharat Express train between Secunderabad and Vijayawada will start from the new year.
The exact date of the launch of Vande Bharat Express train between Secunderabad and Vijayawada is yet to be finalised. The date will be announced after the railway authorities complete track upgradation.

The report said that Indian Railways has plans to extend Secunderabad - Vijayawada Vande Bharat Express train to Visakhapatnam. The route extension will likely be done in February 2023.
