Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru route, timings, stops, stations, train number, schedule: Indian Railways has introduced the fifth Vande Bharat Express. The fifth Vande Bharat train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at KSR railway station in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Earlier, Indian Railways conducted the trial run of the fifth rake of Vande Bharat Express on Monday. The train will cover a total distance of 497 km between Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru and will take 6 hours and 40 minutes to complete the journey - with an average speed of 74 km per hour.

Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru will run on this route: Chennai Central, Bengaluru City and Mysuru Junction. In between, it will cross Perambur, Veppampattu, Katpadi Junction, Gudupalli and Malur.

Vande Bharat Express Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru will have only 1 halt between Chennai central and Mysuru, The train will stop at Bengaluru City Junction.

Vande Bharat Express will depart from Chennai Central at 05:50 am. It will reach Vellore Katpadi Junction at 7:21 AM and depart at 7:25 AM. The train will stop at Bengaluru City Junction at 10:25 am after covering a distance of 359 km. The train will halt at Bengaluru City Junction for 5 minutes. It will arrive at Mysuru Junction at 12:30 pm after covering 137.6 km.

On the return journey, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mysuru Junction at 1:05 . It will reach Bengaluru City Junction at 2:55 pm and Vellore Katpadi Junction at 4:50 PM. It will terminate at Chennai Central at 7:35 pm.

Indigenously built at Integral Coach Factory (ICF), the train will have 16 coaches. It is likely to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Vande Bharat is a semi-high-speed train. It is a self-propelled engine train. It does not have a separate engine. It has automatic doors and air-conditioned chair car coaches and a revolving chair that can rotate up to 180 degrees.

The four other Vande Bharat Express trains are -- New Delhi to Varanasi (inaugural run on February 15, 2019) and New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (inaugural run on October 3, 2019), Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central via Ahmedabad (inaugural run on September 30) and Una to Delhi via Chandigarh (inaugural run on October 13).
