Una-Chandigarh-Delhi Vande Bharat Express Train Route, Time Table, Train Number, Stops: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, October 13, flagged off the 4th Vande Bharat Express. The new Vande Bharat train will run between Una and New Delhi railway stations. It will originate from Amb Andaura railway station in Una district of Himachal Pradesh.

Una-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Train will cut the travel time between New Delhi and Una by almost two hours. It will cover a distance of approximately 520 km in 6:20 hours.

Una-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express can accelerate to 100 km per hour in just 52 seconds. The train has a maximum speed of up to 180 kilometers per hour.

Vande Bharat Train Wi-Fi 

The new Vande Bharat train is an advanced version compared to the earlier ones, being much lighter and capable of reaching higher speed in shorter duration. The improved Vande Bharat Express will weigh 392 tons compared to the previous version of 430 tons.

It will also have a Wi-Fi content on-demand facility. Every coach has 32” screens providing passenger information and infotainment compared to 24” in the previous version. Vande Bharat Express will also be environmentally friendly as the ACs will be 15 per cent more energy efficient.

New design of Vande Bharat Express, a photo-catalytic ultraviolet air purification system is installed in the Roof-Mounted Package Unit (RMPU) for air purification.  

Vande Bharat Express 2.0 offers a myriad of superior and aircraft-like travelling experiences.

It is equipped with advanced state-of-the-art safety features including an indigenously developed Train Collision Avoidance System - KAVACH.
