The Indian Railways is all set to launch another Vande Bharat Express train, in Rajasthan, connecting Jodhpur and Sabarmati in Gujarat. The second semi-high-speed train for the western state is expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (July 7). Rajasthan received its first Vande Bharat train on April 12, 2023, which operates between Ajmer and Delhi Cantonment.

To avoid clashes of timings with other trains running on the same route, the railway authorities have changed the timing for other local trains. The trial run for the Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bhart Express is expected to be conducted on July 5, according to reports.

Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express Schedule

The premium train is expected to start at 6 am from Jodhpur Junction and will reach Sabarmati at 12:05 pm. On the return journey, from Sabarmati the train will leave at 4:45 pm and reach Jodhpur at 10:45 pm.

Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express: Duration, distance, and route details

The super-fast train connecting two major cities will cover a distance of around 440 km in 6.5 hours. The halts between the two stations starting from Jodhpur to Sabarmanti include Pali, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur, and Mehsana.

Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express Ticket price, operation and facilities

Passengers traveling on the Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will be required to pay between Rs 800 and Rs 1600 per person. As of now, there has been no official announcement regarding the ticket prices for difference.

After its inauguration, the Jodhpur-Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week except Sundays. The train will provide a luxurious travel experience with world-class facilities onboard. The train consists of two seat categories of Executive Class and AC Chair cars.

The train is well equipped with reclining seats, CCTV cameras, and bio-toilets, among other amenities.
