Last month, the IRCTC had launched a train on the 'Ramayana Circuit' covering prominent places from Delhi to Nepal. Similar more trains will be launched soon, he said. In places like northeast, which see less footfall in terms of rail passengers, IRCTC is designing pocket-friendly small packages, said Ambarish.

He further added that Monsoon is around the corner, hence a train connecting Lord Shiva temples will be part of this tour itinerary. This train is expected to launch this monsoon.

According to IRCTC, the duration of these tours will be between 2-7 days and the fare will be around Rs 3000/day in all packages, including three meals a day, train travel expense, and a tour guide cost. Moreover, the train will be designed in accordance with the AC-3 economic class, said Zee Business correspondent.

Reacting to the development, Ani Singhvi said IRCTC advancing into a tourism company is interesting.

Analysing the performance of the IRCTC Fut stock, market expert Sumit Bagadia said overall structure of the stock is weak, but might bounce back since the news is good. "The stock will be profitable when it crosses Rs 600. The stock's support level is around Rs 560-570," he said.
