Indian Railways has decided to run several special trains in the festival season for the convenience of its passengers. These trains will run on special price and tickets will be available on IRCTC website.
Festival Special Trains List: There is good news for the railway passengers. Indian Railways has decided to run several special trains in the festival season for the convenience of its passengers. These trains will run on special price and tickets will be available on IRCTC website at irctc.co.in and at nominated PRS counters.

Western Railway has recently tweeted about this decision of the railways from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "With a view to meet the travel demand of passengers, trips of 7 pairs of Festival Special trains are being extended. Booking of these trains will open on 24th August, 2021 at nominated PRS counters & on IRCTC website."
The details of the five pairs of festival special trains that the railways will run are as follows:
Train no. 09017 Bandra to Haridwar Jn. will run weekly and the trips are extended from September 1, 2021.
Train no. 09018 Haridwar Jn. to Bandra will also run weekly and the trips are extended from September 2, 2021.
Train no. 09271 and 09272 will run from Bandra to Patna and Patna to Bandra, respectively, weekly. 09271 has been extended from September 6, 2021, and 09272 has been extended from September 8, 2021.
Train no. 02913 and 02914 will run from Bandra to Saharsa and Saharsa to Bandra, respectively, weekly. The former has been extended from September 5, 2021, and the latter from September 7, 2021.
Train no. 09313 and 098314 will run from Indore to Patna and Patna to Indore, respectively. The former has been extended from September 1, 2021, and the latter from September 3, 2021.
Train number 09321 and 09322 will run from Indore to Patna and Patna to Indore, respectively. The former has been extended from September 4, 2021 and the latter from September 6, 2021.
Furthermore, six trips of summer special trains 05302 Bandra to Gorakhpur and 05301 Gorakhpur to Bandra have been extended.
The passengers must note that the bookings of train numbers 09017, 09271, 02913, 09313 and 09321 will open from tomorrow August 24, 2021. For the extended trips of train numbers 05302, the bookings will be available from today, August 23, 2021.
