The Western Railway has extended the trips of eleven pairs of Special Trains for the convenience of passengers. The decision has been taken in order to meet the travel demand.

The booking of the extended trips will open on Friday, June 11 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC official website, Western Railway informed.

"For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, trips of 11 pairs of Special Trains are being extended. The booking of extended trips will open on 11th June, 2021 at nominated PRS counters & on IRCTC website," Western Railway tweeted.

 

Other than this the Indian Railways is also starting 6 more train services for the convenience of the passengers.

The Ministry of Railways said in a tweet in Hindi, "Indian Railways is starting 6 more train services for the convenience of the passengers. These trains will provide convenient and safe travel to the passengers while providing connectivity to various states of the country."

 

Among these, train services are being started between Lucknow to Jabalpur, Muzaffarpur to Ahmedabad, Saharsa to Anand Vihar, etc.

These 6 train services include:

1. Bareilly – Lucknow: Starting from June 10, this train will run daily between the cities of Bareilly and Lucknow.

2. Muzaffarpur – Ahmedabad: Starting from June 10, this train will run on weekly basis.

3. Danapur – Anand Vihar: Starting from June 10, this train will run daily.

4. Lucknow – Jabalpur: Starting from June 11, this train will run daily between Lucknow and Jabalpur.

5. Saharsa – Anand Vihar: Starting from June 13, this train will run two days a week between Saharsa and Anand Vihar.

6. Prayagraj – Udhampur: Starting from June 14, this train will run on weekly basis between Prayagraj and Udhampur.
