The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an official statement on Friday, saying that each commuter is allowed to carry two sealed bottles of alcohol on the Delhi Metro. This similar to the prevalent norms on the Delhi Metro's Airport Express Line, it said. Earlier, liquor bottles  both opened and unopened were confiscated by the CISF security personnel at Metro stations.
