The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced that it will run an all-inclusive Char Dham Yatra Rail tour package. The Dekho Apna Desh Deluxe Tourists train covering the visit of most prominent pilgrimage Char Dham’s i.e. Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram & Dwarkadhish across India in 16 days.

Char Dham Yatra Rail tour package will start from 18 September 2021 and will end on 17 October 2021. The passengers can board and deboard the train from Delhi Safderjung. The number of seats available are 48 in second-class AC and 72 in first-class AC.

Char Dham Yatra Rail tour package will cover these destinations and visits Badrinath: Badrinath Temple, Mana Village & Narsingha Temple (Joshimath); Rishikesh: Lakshman Jhulla & Triveni Ghat; Puri: Jagannath temple, Golden Beach of Puri, Konark Sun Temple & Chandrabhaga Beach; Rameshwaram: Ramnathswami temple and Dhanushkodi; Dwarka: Dwarkadhish Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Shivrajpur beach and Bet Dwarka. 

The tour price per person for 1 AC class will be Rs 109,595 for single occupancy, Rs 97,195 for twin, Rs 95,500 for triple, Rs 87,290 for child with bed, and Rs 84,725 for child without bed. The 2AC class will cost Rs 90,985 for single, Rs 78,585 for twin, Rs 76,895 for triple, Rs 68,675 for child with bed, and Rs 66,120 for child without bed. 

IRCTC has mentioned that COVID Vaccination (at least One dose) is mandatory for Guests of age group 18 or above. 

IRCTC has informed that the Itinerary is tentative and can be changed or modified subject to smooth and timely running of Train. The final Timing will be based on the Train order received from the railways. 

IRCTC has right to alter itinerary under unavoidable circumstances and is not liable for any type of natural calamities/ strikes/ cancellation/ delay of train/ insurgency of any such nature which is beyond control during the tour period. 

Operation of Deluxe Tourist Train is subject to minimum number of passengers booked. 

Passengers before boarding the train should ensure the proper check-up of their body/ health from their doctor in order to be fit for travelling, IRCTC will not be responsible for any mishap due to unfit condition/ health problem such as restlessness/ anxiety/ Unusual breathing problem of Asthmatic clients/ any other physical problems and Natural Death of the passengers.
