Indian Railways Special Trains List: In a relief to the passengers, the Indian Railways have decided to extend the periodicity of certain special trains. The Northern Railway has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle and informed the passengers about the decision of the Indian Railways to extend the periodicity of these trains. The passengers must note that for any information related to timing, stoppages and other queries, they can visit the official website of Indian Railways at enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.

Northern Railway tweeted, "Railway passengers are informed that it has been decided by the Railways to extend the period of operation of the following special trains as follows." A list of the special trains whose period of operation have been extended, has also been provided. The special trains whose services have been extended are as follows:

 

1) Train no. 04131 Prayagraj - Udhampur Special Express has been running bi-weekly on Tuesday and Saturday. The service of this special train has been notified till July 31, 2021. However, The service has been extended from August 3, 2021, till November 30, 2021.

2) Train no. 04132 Udhampur - Prayagraj Special Express has been running bi-weekly on Wednesday and Sunday. It has to be noted that this service was notified till August 1, 2021. Now, the service of this special train has been extended from August 4, 2021, till December 1, 2021.

3) Train no. 04185 Gwalior - Barauni Junction Special Express has been running daily and it has been notified to run till July 31, 2021. However, the service of this special train has been extended from August 1, 2021, till November 30, 2021.

4) Train no. 04186 Barauni Junction - Gwalior Special Express also has been running daily. This special express has been notified to run till August 1, 2021. Now, the service of this train has also been extended till December 1, 2021.

Apart from the Indian Railways website, in case of any queries, the passengers contact the RailMadad helpline number at 139. It must also be noted that all COVID-19 norms of the state governments as well as the central government including social distancing, sanitisation and others must be followed in the trains and the railway stations. The passengers must also ensure all other precautions associated with COVID-19.
