Union Cabinet takes important decisions including 2nd phase of Swachh Bharat, women empowerment

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar informed that women empowerment, second phase of Swachh Bharat and establishment of a technology group were few of the significant decisions taken by the cabinet under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a press conference, Javadekar said, “We took significant decisions in today’s cabinet meeting under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. First and foremost is decision is taken for women empowerment. Second decision is taken in keeping the view about crop dispute. Second phase of Swachh Bharat Mission to cover all rural areas, establishment of a technology group were among the other decisions. ” “The Cabinet has approved elevation of Bhaskaracharya Institute of Space Applications and Geoinformatics (BISAG) in Gujarat as Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics.”
