Rare variety of tea in Assam fetches Rs 75,000/kg at auction

Assam is known for its exclusive varieties of tea which are famous worldwide. A rare variety of tea has taken tea cultivation in the hill state a notch higher by fetching Rs 750,000 per kilogram at auction. Dikom Tea Estate has set the record straight by getting such a high bid at an auction. The Estate is known for its high quality tea since last 20 years.
