Mary Kom thanks nation after being selected for Padma Vibhushan

Boxer Mary Kom is “extremely happy” and “thanked nation” after being selected for the Padma Vibhushan, the country's second-highest civilian award. While speaking to ANI, Mary Kom said, “I am very happy and I can’t express my feelings. I want to thanks Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju for recommending my name. I also want to congratulate people selected for the awards. I want to thanks the nation for the love and support”.
