India 360: QR Codes To Help Detect Fake Medicines; Government To Launch Track And Trace Mechanism Soon

The government is going to make it mandatory for pharmaceutical companies to print bar codes or QR codes on the packets of their medicines. Initially, the bar code or QR Code will be printed on the top selling 300 brands. With the Barcode or QR Code printed, the drug buyer will be able to scan the code from his mobile to find out whether the medicine is real or fake. Watch this special on India 360.
