India 360: DoT Seeks TRAIs View To Regulate Internet Calling, Messaging Apps

Internet calling and messaging of many mobile apps like Skype, WhatsApp, Signal, Google Meet, Facebook Messenger, Telegram may attract charges. In this regard, DoT has asked TRAI to review mobile apps and their internet calling/messaging features. Telecom companies said under 'One Service, One Charge' that, 'These apps should also be seen like Telecom companies and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Watch this exclusive report on India 360.
