Aadhaar Card Update: Mass vaccination drive against Covid-19 vaccination is set to start across the nation. The drive is going to start on 16th January, 2021. However, those who will be vaccinated first will be the ones whose Aadhaar card-mobile linking has been done. Aadhaar-Mobile link has been made mandatory for Coronavirus vaccination because it would help the government to monitor and identify the vaccination drive beneficiaries. It would also help the government to find out who needs to be vaccinated at a particular time.

For proper monitoring and regulation of the Coronavirus vaccination drive, Co-Win digital platform has been created. Beneficiaries will be identified with the help of Aadhaar and timely second dosage for them will also be ensured. After a person receives the first dose of vaccination, Co-Win will immediately generate a digital vaccination certificate. This certificate will also act as a reminder for the second dose, after which, a final certificate will be given.
