Baal Aadhaar card online registration: Aadhaar is an important document that comes handy everywhere. From availing government schemes to even getting a number of documents including even for getting to vote in an election! It can be used everywhere. Aadhaar has been made mandatory for everyone.    
There is a Baal Aadhaar Card too for minor children. It is issued to children below five years. There is no minimum age for getting an Aadhaar Card as it can be issued to even newborns now. It is blue in colour. It is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). There is much confusion about this card among parents.  One of those questions is what are the requirements parents need to fulfill to get a Baal Aadhaar Card for their child.

1. It is mandatory for parents to produce Aadhaar card while registering for their child’s Baal Aadhaar Card as it will be linked with the Aadhaar card of the parent. 
2. As per the rules, Aadhaar cards of parents or a guardian is mandatory for registering for Baal Aadhaar Card in case of children below five years.
3. Biometric details of children below five years are not taken and their Aadhaar cards are linked to parents card until they turn 15 years.  
4. If the child is over five years of age, biometric authentication is mandatory for the new updation of the child’s Aadhaar card. 
5. Also, when the child turns 15, another biometric updation will be required. Fingerprints of your child, a digital photograph, and iris scan will be taken during the enrollment process.
