Aadhaar card is an essential document and is required by almost everyone. To make Aadhaar services available at your doorsteps, UIDAI also caters to more than 35 services with mAadhaar. This service is also available for newborn. A child below five years can get a blue-colored BaalAadhaar, however, this becomes invalid once the child attains 5 years of age.

How to get  BaalAadhaar  

In order to enroll your child or newborn for Aadhaar, you need to book an appointment for the same. Here are the steps:      
*Visit the ask.uidai.gov.in    
*enter your mobile number or email id and captcha      
*Hit on 'Send OTP' option to seek appointment    
* Now you furnish the required documents I.e. child's birth certificate and Aadhaar of one of the parents    
* Your appointment is booked, and you would be provided with Aadhaar card shortly by the UIDAI.

Once you are on this window, all you need to do enter the city name and follow the due process to book an appointment and get your child's Aadhaar card activated.
