On the opening day urad dal was up by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.8,600 fro Rs.8,500.

Gram dal price was Rs.8,000, an increase of Rs.200 from its closing rate Rs.7,800.

Maida (90 kg) was up by Rs.200 to Rs.2,700 from Rs.2,500.

Prices of thoor dal,moong dal,sugar,wheat and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,800, Urad Dal Rs 8,600, Moong Dal Rs 7,500, Gram Dal Rs 8,000, Sugar Rs 4,080, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
