Thoor dal and gram dal were up by Rs.500 each per quintal to Rs.7,300 and Rs 7,500 from Rs.6,800 and Rs.7000 respectively.

Maida(90 kg) opened at Rs.2,700 an increase of Rs.200 from its closing rate of Rs.2,500.

Urad dal, moong dal,sugar,wheat and sooji (90 Kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300, Urad Dal Rs 7,500, Moong Dal Rs 6,800, Gram Dal Rs 7,500, Sugar Rs 4,080, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
