On Monday, urad dal, moong dal and gram dal was down by Rs 500, Rs 400 and Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 7,500, Rs 6,800 and Rs 7,300 from its last week's closing rate of Rs 8,000, Rs 7,200 and Rs 7,500 and ruled steady till Friday and rose by Rs 1000, Rs 700 and Rs 500 to Rs 8,500, Rs 7,500 and Rs 7,800 respectively today.

In addition, wheat opened the week at the same rate of Rs 2,600 but increased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 2,700 today.

In contrast, maida (90 kg) was up by Rs 100 to 2,700 from its last week's closing rate of Rs 2,600 and decreased by Rs 100 to Rs 2,500 today.

Thoor dal (Rs 7,800), sugar (Rs 4,080) and Sooji (90 kg) (Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
