A city-based company today launched a mobile app 'Ambulance Taxi' which integrates doctors, hospitals and other available resources for a person in need of medical help.

"Medical services and such persons who have instinct for social service, whom we have called Ambutters, are the two components of the system," Tania Kar, Director of Ambulance Taxi Line Pvt Ltd said at the launch function at Birla auditorium here.

If the app user faces a medical emergency, he needs to push a button and the notification goes to Ambutters within a range of 2 kms, which enables the user to be rushed to hospital.
