Transporters said tight availability of trucks and increased cargo movements mainly pushed freight rates for select destinations.

Delhi to Indore, Ahmedabad and Mumbai freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 21,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 27,000.

Rates to Goa, Guwahati and Kochi also went up by Rs 1000 each to Rs 59,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 72,000.
