Australian Minister for Trade, Investment and Tourism Steve Ciobo MP today visited the Asia's largest fruits and vegetables wholesale market at Azadpur in the national capital.

He visited the new fruit market in Azadpur to inspect the largest fruit wholesale market in Asia, a statement said.

Australia currently exports counter season fresh fruit to India including citrus, apples, pears, stone fruits, table grapes, and cherries.

"Ciobo is keen to see this trade grow and expand," the statement said.

Australia also imports mangoes from India.

Ciobo is currently leading the largest Australian business delegation to visit India in several years, including some of Australia's leading agricultural and food companies.

Australia is exploring business opportunities in India in the field of agriculture and food.
