Property Market - Big worry: Rs 4.51 lakh crore housing units in limbo

Delayed projects are resulting in cost overruns and this has been further compounding the funding crunch for several real estate builders in top cities, according to property consultant Anarock. "If buyers stop purchasing under construction properties, builders would have far more challenging time to get funds from external sources for project construction", says Anuj Puri, Anarock, Founder and Chairman.
