Budget 2019 highlights: FM Nirmala Sitharamans maiden Budget speech in Parliament
As per tradition, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today called on President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan before presenting the Union Budget. The Finance Minister carried the Budget papers in a read file, which carried the impression of the national emblem, instead of the traditional briefcase.
