7th Pay Commission: This step of HP government will help around 5 lakh employees and pensioners and would provide the financial benefits of Rs 250 crore to the employees.HP Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that in order to check development work, the golden jubilee year of the statehood would be celebrated by organising 51 programmes throughout the year across Himachal Pradesh. 7th Pay Commission: Earlier other states have hiked the dearness allowance too. The state like Odisha and Gujarat had raised the Dearness Allowance for its government employees and pensioners and the states, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh government are also expected to announce a DA hike to provide relaxation to their employees to protect them from the effects of inflation.
