WBPRB excise constable recruitment 2019: West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has invited online applications from interested candidates for the recruitment of 3000 vacant posts of Excise Constables in the Subordinate Excise Service (SES) under Finance Department of the West Bengal government. According to the official notification, online application process begins on March 11, and the last date to complete application process is April 10, 2019 (5:00 pm). Candidates can also modify their details in their online saved application form till April 10, 2019 (5:00 pm).

The last date for Offline Challan payment through United Bank of India is April 12, 2019 till 5 pm, and the last date for submission of reprint receipt is April 13, 2019 till 5 pm.

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Candidate's age should be minimum 18 years and should not exceed 27 years as on January 1, 2019. The SC/ST candidates of West Bengal will have upper-age limit of 5 years, while OBC candidates of the state will get age relaxation of 3 years.

Educational qualification: Candidate should have passed the Madhyamik examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or have an equivalent qualification.

Aspirants must have studied Bengali/ Nepali as a language paper of or above the Madhyamik level, as their proficiency in Bengali/Nepali will be tested in the Preliminary Written Test.

How to Apply 

Candidates who meet the eligibility would be able to submit their online application through the WBPRB's official website. 

Candidates need to visit the online registration page if they are not registered already. If they have registered them earlier, they should submit their details and submit their details.

Exam fee: All candidates need to pay an application of Rs 220 except SC/ST category aspirants of West Bengal. SC/ST candidates belonging to West Bengal have to pay Rs 20 as processing fee.

Selection process

The selection of West Bengal Excise Constables will be accomplished in five stages. First, the board will hold a preliminary written exam and those who will qualify the Prelims test will be called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT).

After qualifying the PMT, candidates will be called for a final written examination, followed by an Interview on the basis of merit.
