Anand Mahindra wants to help a Kerala man to manufacture miniature jeep models. Arunkumar from Kerala, had recently built a fully-functional miniature of the Jeep Willys for a 10-year old boy. Arunkumar gifted the miniature Willys, which takes inspiration from the SUV used in the Mohanlal starrer - Lucifer, to the boy who is a native of Anchal town in Kollam, Kerala.

"This miniature jeep is made for Kollam, Anchal native a 10-Year-old boy Amruthesh with the help of Some generous people. Weight of this toy jeep is approx 75 Kilos and it can pull twice its weight. I had kept the size slightly small to reduce the overall weight and to make it more attractive,” description of the video read.

In response to this, Anand Mahindra tweeted that he wants to help this man as it could compete with imports of such toys.

"That model looks very cool indeed! I’d love to see if he’s interested in us helping him manufacture these toy models for sale to others. Could compete with imports of such toys if made in larger volumes,” Mahindra tweeted. 

The billionaire even asked how he can contact Arunkumar for the same.

Arunkumar has mentioned that it took him approximately seven to eight months to complete the entire project to put it together during his spare time. To make the miniature jeep operational, he developed the chassis himself. The miniature Jeep is powered by a 24V DC motor connected to the rear axle.

The toy jeep is fitted with a rack and pinion steering system since steering systems of that small a size are not produced so he designed it himself. The car also has interior lights, headlights, fog lamps, indicators, adjustable rear-view mirrors, operational wipers, horn, USB mobile charger, a dedicated first-aid box, USB/memory card slot and more.
