War vs Housefull 4 box office collection: 2019 has been a great year for Bollywood as several big budget as well content-driven films have manged to pull audience to theatres. And, things can get better from here on with several big budget films expected to release in the last quarter. The madness has started with this week's War. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles, War has run a riot at the box office, minting Rs 100 crore in just three days. Notably, two out of these three days were weekdays. So, the film is expected to do even better during the weekend.

If Film trade analyst, critic and influencer Sumit Kadel is to be believed Bollywood can see at least Rs 500 crore in box office collections in October itself. Apart from War, the month will also we have few big releases on Diwali including Housefull 4 which stars Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Riteish Deshmukh. It is tipped to be one of the most expensive Bollywood films ever and should do well at the box office. 

"The month of October is going to see two HUGE hits #WAR & #Housefull4 , both film combined collection will contribute minimum ₹ 500 cr nett Collection to the box office. Dream run for our Bollywood Industry continues," Kadel tweeted. The other big releases of the month include - The Sky Is Pink, Ghost, Laal Kaptan, Saand Ki Aankh and Made in China.

Meanwhile, War has become Yash Raj Films' fifth movie to cross Rs 100 crore mark after Dhoom 3, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Thugs of Hindostan. In another tweet, he said that the film should add to its extended weekend total over the next two days.

"#War continues its dream run... Day 3 [Fri] - a working day and coming after two days of big biz - shows no signs of weakening or slowing down... Now it’s up to the two days of weekend - Sat and Sun - to add to a solid *extended* weekend total," Adarsh tweeted.
