The extended arm of the Indian Railways, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), has come up with an attractive holiday package for Goa. So if you have been putting off visiting Goa for far too long, then the Glorious Goa package is just for you. 

The package includes an itinerary for three nights and four days. The key visits under this package will be around both North Goa and South Goa. Prominent sites included in the trip are Miramar Beach, Old Goa Church, Fort Aguada, Candolim Beach, Bagha Beach, Anjuna Beach, Dona Paula and the queen of beaches, the Calangute Beach.

The Goa tour will commence from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station by train number 10111 Konkan Kanya Express. The return trip is by train number 10104 to Mumbai from either Madgaon or Thivim. 

The charges that IRCTC will levy on the customer for this tour will include train tickets (Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai) round trip), accommodation in hotels, meals (breakfast and dinner), guide tours and travel insurance. However, the package does not include the expenses of on board meals in the train and additional sight seeing. 

The customers will be charges according to the occupancy requirement of the travelling party. Interested individuals can choose the package according to their needs and pay accordingly. For example a single customer will be charged Rs 15,990 while occupancy with a child bed will cost Rs 9,800.

IRCTC also mentions that if one needs to cancel their package they will be charges accordingly. The customer will be charges Rs 100 for cancellation up to 15 days. Charges will be 25% to 50% for cancellations between 7-14 days. A 100% deduction will be levied if the cancellation id done the last moment.
