Visakhapatnam Port Trust Recruitment 2018: Applications for this post invited at vizagport.com; pay scale Rs 32900-58000

Visakhapatnam Port Trust has invited application for filling up the post of Dy Chief Engineer (Dy.HOD). The position holder will be recruited on the revised pay scale of Rs 32900-58000. Applications are invited from the eligible officers of major Ports, who possess the prescribed qualifications, experience and other conditions. Names of suitable and willing officers, who satisfy the provisions in the approved Recruitment Rules for the above post may be furnished together with their applications. Applicants should apply as per the proforma given in the advertisement, which is available on vizagport.com, along with the following documents on or before June 12, 2018:

1. Copies of Annual Confidential Report (ACR) of the applicant for the last five years (up to March, 2018), which should be attested by an Officer not below the rank of Dy. HoD. In case an applicant does not have ACR, he has to furnish a non-availability certificate to that particular year.
2. Candidates have to send attested photocopies of all certificates.
3. The applicant has to submit no objection certificate of respective Port.
4. The applicant has to furnish Vigilance/Administrative clearance of the concerned Port/organisation in the revised proforma as prescribed.
5. The applicant has to give an Undertaking stating he/she will not to withdraw, if selected.
6. The details of the applicant should be clearly be mentioned in the application form along with length of service in the feeder grade posts
and details of pay scales.
7.  The candidate has to mention whether his/her experience in the feeder grade posts in regular or Ad hoc or deputation basis.
8. The applications of ineligible candidates will not be considered.
 9. Three copies of recent passport size photographs.

The candidates have to send application through proper channel. Applications received after the last date or without the ACR’s or incomplete will not be considered. 
Educational qualifications and experience:  The  candidates should hold a Civil Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution and possess 12 years experience in executive cadre in the specified field.
