Speaking on the price offered by Vedanta promoters for delisting, Anil Singhvi said, "I am not against the Vedanta delisting, but the price offered to the retail investors is not attractive. The Floor Price for delisting of Vedanta shares delisting comes around Rs 87, which comes from a simple SEBI formula and even company promoters know that the final delisting would take place at around Rs 150 to Rs 155. So, it could have been better if they had come with a price matching with the actual screen price instead of this Floor Price for delisting."

On his strategy for the Vedanta shareholders to make money from this delisting process, Singhvi said, "Vedanta shareholders still have three options — tender your Vedanta shares within one year of delisting, take benefit of the dividend post-delisting and hold the option to sell your shares if the delisting fails — and they should exercise any of these options at a suitable time."
