Vande Bharat Express: Indian Railways has completed the formalities for introducing the Vande Bharat Express train from New Delhi to Vaishno Devi Katra. Home Minister Amit Shah will flag-off the inaugural New Delhi to Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express train on October 3rd in New Delhi. The Indian Railways preparation for the event at the New Delhi railway station are already under process. On coming Saturday, the final trial of the train will be done by the Indian Railways.

A few weeks ago, the Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal had informed in a tweet that trial runs for the New Delhi to Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express trains are almost over and the most awaited Vande Bharat Express train will have introduced in the auspicious period of Navratra. The Vande Bharat Express train is build under the Make In India project, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's one of the most ambitious projects in India.

Vande Bharat Express train will leave for Vaishno Devi Katra from New Delhi at morning 6 AM and reach Jammu at 12:38 PM via Ambala and Ludhiyana. It will reach Katra at 2:00 PM. At 3:00 PM on the same day, it would start for New Delhi from Katra.

By 2022, the Indian government aims to introduce 40 semi-speed Vande Bharat Express trains. It will be an integral part of the Make In India project. For this, the Indian Railways administration is upgrading various Indian railway routes. According to the Indian Railways officials, New Delhi to Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah rail route will become equipped to run Vande Bharat Express train by 2021.
